Novena to the Sacred Heart
"Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you."
On June 11 as part of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Parishes around the country are encouraged to join the bishops in celebrating the consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart. And our parish will be participating in the USCCB’s Novena to the Sacred Heart from June 3-11.
This Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus draws its daily devotions from the Litany of the Sacred Heart. Each day reflects on the wisdom of saints and pontiffs on the Sacred Heart and offers opportunities for prayer and action, framed by Pope Francis’ encyclical Dilexit Nos (He Loved Us) and Pope Leo XIV’s apostolic exhortation Dilexi Te (I Have Loved You).

El 11 de junio, como parte de la celebración del 250º aniversario de la firma de la Declaración de Independencia, los obispos de los Estados Unidos consagrarán a los Estados Unidos de América al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Se anima a las parroquias de todo el país a unirse a los obispos en la celebración de la consagración de nuestra nación al Sagrado Corazón. Y nuestra parroquia participará en la Novena al Sagrado Corazón de la USCCB del 3 al 11 de junio.
Esta Novena al Sagrado Corazón de Jesús toma sus devociones diarias de la Letanía del Sagrado Corazón. Cada día reflexiona sobre la sabiduría de los santos y pontífices sobre el Sagrado Corazón y ofrece oportunidades de oración y acción, enmarcadas por la encíclica del Papa Francisco Dilexit Nos (Él Nos Amó) y la exhortación apostólica del Papa León XIV Dilexi Te (Te He Amado).
